TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last Updated: August 7, 2026
Welcome to theskininstitute.org. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms,” “Agreement”) govern your access to and use of the website operated by The Skin Institute (“we,” “us,” or “our”), as well as the bookings, educational enrollment paths, and clinical operations tied to our location at 552 N. Dixie Dr., St. George, UT 84770. By accessing our site, interacting with our digital content, or scheduling a student appointment, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease accessing this website.
1. Intellectual Property Rights
Unless otherwise explicitly stated, all text, logos, custom service menu descriptions, images, graphics, website layouts, code, and educational materials published on this website are the intellectual property of The Skin Institute. You are granted a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to view and browse the site for personal, non-commercial information purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, or modify any content without our express written permission.
2. Clinical Student Spa Operational Framework
By utilizing our clinical spa service menu, reviewing pricing, or booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following unique operational conditions:
Educational Institution Status: You understand and accept that our clinic is an educational training environment. All treatments are performed directly by student estheticians who are working toward completing graduation milestones and practical licensing hours.
Licensed Supervision: All student treatments are closely observed, reviewed, and guided by licensed master instructors to ensure student proficiency and clinical quality.
No Medical Diagnostic Commitments: All facial protocols, body treatments, device uses (LED, Cryo, Laser), or chemical skin treatments are purely cosmetic and aesthetic in nature. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any dermatological disease, medical condition, or internal illness.
3. Appointment Booking and Cancellation Policies
Phone-Only Bookings: Because our advanced clinical treatments depend heavily on academic class schedules, student availability, and the specific training milestones a student has successfully passed, all services must be booked directly by calling our Spa Services team at 435-288-1889. Appointment times fluctuate and are never guaranteed until confirmed verbally by our staff.
Student Allocation: You may request a specific student specialist for your treatment; however, final student allocation is subject to shifting academic criteria, attendance, and instructor approval.
Cancellation Notice Requirements: Students rely on your scheduled appointment to secure mandatory clinical tracking hours required for graduation. If you must reschedule or cancel, you agree to notify our front desk at least 24 hours in advance so we can reassign that valuable clock-hour space.
Lateness and Dynamic Adjustments: Arriving late to your appointment may result in a shortened treatment time or cancellation, at our staff's discretion, to protect the educational scheduling blocks of our students.
4. Guest and On-Site Safety Policies
To protect the rigorous focus of our learning environment, preserve strict medical sanitation rules, and guarantee the physical safety of our patrons, you agree to adhere to the following facility rules:
No Accompanying Guests: Accompanying guests, family members, or friends are strictly prohibited from entering the active treatment rooms during a service block.
Strict No-Children Policy: Children are not allowed inside the student spa environment under any circumstances. Minors cannot be left unattended in the waiting room or reception area during a client's treatment. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in immediate cancellation of your service slot.
5. Medical and Prescription Disclosures
You agree to provide our student estheticians and licensed instructors with accurate, complete, and up-to-date health and skin histories. Certain aggressive skin treatments, chemical peels, and waxing services cannot be safely executed if you are using specific active prescriptions (such as Retin-A, Accutane, or blood thinners). The Skin Institute holds no liability for adverse reactions resulting from a client’s failure to disclose underlying health conditions, systemic allergies, or active medication protocols.
6. User Conduct and Account Integrity
If you interact with our digital tools, contact forms, or student enrollment frameworks, you agree not to post, transmit, or upload any defamatory, offensive, fraudulent, malicious, or technologically damaging materials (such as viruses or malware). We reserve the right to terminate website access or refuse clinical services to any individual who violates these standards or exhibits abusive behavior toward our students, instructors, or front desk personnel.
7. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable federal and Utah state law, The Skin Institute, its owners, directors, licensed instructors, employees, and students shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your use of this website, information listed on our pages, or aesthetic services received inside our student clinic. You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Skin Institute from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your negligent behavior on-site.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action, dispute, or proceeding arising directly out of these Terms or your interaction with our facility shall be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington County, Utah.
9. Modifications to Services and Terms
We reserve the right to change our service menu, structural pricing tiers, package discounts, and general operational policies at any time without prior announcement. We may modify these Terms and Conditions at any moment by publishing the revised copy directly here. Your continued use of the website or booking of spa appointments after changes are posted constitutes your binding legal acceptance of the updated terms.
