Our students learn and use four professional skin care lines which gives you a competitive edge starting out your career. We carry several professional skin care lines: Image, Glymed Plus, Elta MD, PCA Skin, Alastin and Eminence. As a basic esthetician you will learn the foundation skills that will prepare you to work in settings such as day spas performing facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures. The master course prepares you to work in a more clinical setting such as med spas, dermatology clinics, plastic surgery offices or laser centers.
As a master student you will have the opportunity to learn from and assist the renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. BCK Patel, as he sees patients at our campus. You will prep his patients and observe him performing treatments such as Botox, fillers, sclerotherapy, laser treatments and more all while he is explaining the procedure. Many students also take advantage of his invitation to participate in surgical observation. Seeing Dr. Patel in action in the surgical room is a rare opportunity and one that will enhance your master esthetics education.
The Skin Institute is dedicated to providing the complete, dynamic education we know students need to become competitive and skilled professionals. We achieve this by maintaining one instructor per 20 students or less, using effective professional products in the treatment room, keeping equipment in excellent working condition, creating a clean classroom environment that is conducive to the learning process, and having instructors who receive continuing education.
